Blackbaud offers new ticketing service

American technology company Blackbaud Inc has acquired Intelitix expand its services to non-profit organisations such as arts organisations that raise money and sell tickets.

Intelitix is an integrated patron management solution designed for performing arts organisations.

“A significant number of our customers rely on ticketing, as well as fundraising, as an important source of revenue,” said Robert J. Sywolski, CEO of Blackbaud, Inc. “Our desire to more effectively serve the needs of these types of organizations has led us to form this new division and acquire the assets of Intelitix.”

Jane Quinn, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association and a current user of the Intelitix software, said: “Dynamic Web-based ticketing and integrated patron management tools are essential for those of us who must find more effective ways to retain subscribers and develop new audience members.”
