Syntegra Edinburgh Marathon runners raise funds online

Runners in next month’s Edinburgh Marathon have already raised over £20,000 online using Justgiving’s services.
Justgiving is the official online fundraising partner of the Syntegra Edinburgh Marathon which takes place on Sunday 15 June 2003. As of today 137 runners have created pages on Justgiving, raising £20,598 in sponsored donations.
Justgiving was also the online fundraising partner of last month’s Flora London Marathon. So far more than 3,800 of the runners have raised £1.3 million through Justgiving.

The Edinburgh Marathon is smaller with no more than 5,000 runners, but Justgiving says they are encouraged with the runners’ response so far, given that this is their first involvement with the Marathon.
