Tesco bag raises £41 for Age Concern on eBay

A Tesco carrier bag has been auctioned online at eBay for £41 to raise funds for Age Concern, Tesco’s charity of the year.

The bag was a standard Tesco plastic carrier bag featuring the logo of Age Concern, yet it still attracted 33 bids.

According to Third Sector magazine, the seller, Jamie Green from Southampton, had sold a Tesco carrier bag last year, although he raised only £4.39 on that occasion.
