Charitable trust reaches £1 million in grants to individuals to clear energy debts

The EDF Energy Trust, an independent charity giving grants to people struggling to pay their energy bills, has met an important milestone – it has awarded more than 2500 awards to clear energy debts amounting to £1 million.
The Trust, which was established at the end of 2003 with the support EDF Energy, aims to make a long term difference to people’s lives, and is available for customers of EDF Energy including the brands formally known as SWEB Energy, Seeboard Energy and London Energy.
