Howard Lake | 13 August 2006 | News

The Institute of Fundraising is currently seeking contributions, either in terms of feedback or volunteer committee members, on three codes of best practice covering direct mail fundraising, accountability and transparency, and the Donor’s charter.

The Institute of Fundraising’s Standards Committee is inviting fundraisers and consultants with “significant experience” of direct mail fundraising to join the working group that will will develop the Institute’s Direct Mail Code of Fundraising Practice.
A nomination form is available to download from the Institute’s website.

Meanwhile the Institute is seeking feedback from charities on the revised Donor’s Charter before 1 September 2006, and on its draft Code on Accountability and Transparency in Fundraising.
