Charities urge companies not to send corporate Christmas cards

Howard Lake | 1 November 2006 | Blogs

Crisis is already urging companies to avoid sending printing Christmas cards this year. In a newspaper advert it is even offering them an incentive to do so.
“It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas!” says the charity. “This year however DON’T send company Christmas cards! Sign up to Crisis Christmas Card Challenge, donate the money normally spent on cards to Crisis and in return we’ll send your season’s greetings to your clients through two double page adverts in the FT, on ft.com and through your very own animated ecard. Log onto www.crisis.org.uk/christmascardchallenge to find out more. It’s that simple!”
