The Fundraising Standards Board launched its membership recruitment campaign at the Institute of Fundraising Scotland’s conference this week – several months ahead of the FSB in England and Wales.

FSB’s manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland, Kate Higgins said: “The support of the fundraising sector in Scotland has been vital in getting us to this stage in developing the self-regulatory scheme. So we were delighted to launch our membership recruitment campaign at their conference.”

Forty charities have already signed up to the scheme. Two thousand application packs have been sent out to organisations of all sizes, in all scetors, in all parts of the country, working for all causes, said Higgins.
