Howard Lake | 5 March 2007 | News

UK Fundraising’s latest blog comes from Simon Burne, Senior Consultant at THINK Consulting Solutions, and Chair of the Institute of Fundraising from 2002 to 2005.

Simon joins other leading fundraising thinkers and practitioners including Sarah Hughes, Kevin Kibble, Ian MacQuillin in writing a blog on UK Fundraising. Other blogs on the site include Streetlife (on face-to-face fundraising), The Funderer (a humorous look at fundraising), and event-based blogs such as the Institute of Fundraising National Fundraising Awards, and Fundraising Ireland 2006.

His first too posts consider professionalising the sector and self-regulation. As always, if you want to join the debate on these issues, you can add your own comments and thoughts to his posts.
