Time to nominate the best fundraising and fundraisers

Howard Lake | 21 November 2007 | Blogs

Nominations are now open for the Institute of Fundraising National Awards 2008. The odds on winning are pretty good: this year’s awards received 250 nominations. The 2008 Awards will be even bigger, with the addition of new categories including Best Use of Legacy Fundraising and Best Use of Payroll Giving.

There are awards for campaigns, techniques, individuals and teams, and the Institute is inviting fundraisers, support agencies and supplier partners to nominate
deserving campaigns and colleagues. The closing date for entries is 3 March 2008, but get that nomination in now.

As with this year’s awards, UK Fundraising will be publishing a blog dedicated to the event, with details of the shortlisted campaigns and the winners.

Time to declare an interest too: I’m once again a judge in the awards, and UK Fundraising is sponsoring the Fundraiser of the Year award category.
