Help the Aged choose in-house donor management

Howard Lake | 13 February 2008 | News

Help the Aged has appointed The Software Bureau to help it move its donor management activities in-house. The charity will use the company’s data processing product Cygnus ES to help it achieve greater control of its data and reduce the cost of donor recruitment and retention.
The Software Bureau will be implementing and supporting Cygnus ES’ Embedded Suppressions module which offers a wide range of data preparation techniques and a number of key suppression files. This allows users to clean and process utilise their own data without the retainer fees charged by some bureaux.
Stephen Newberry at Help the Aged said: “This solution was the best we came across in terms of keeping our data secure, retaining absolute control and ensuring we are recruiting and retaining donors in the most cost-effective way possible.”
