You’ve just missed a great First Friday, not to mention the muffins and a riff on penguins…

The Glass room at The Hub – Kings Cross was packed with charities of all sizes taxing the experts: fielding the questions from 2.00 to 5.00 for the IFC included Kevin Baughen, Victoria Ireland, Catherine Chin and adding an Italian dynamic Alessandro Grassini as well as yours truly.

Questions came fast and varied, from rebuilding a major charity’s trading operation as the business cycle turned, to the first fundraising steps for an NGO working in Mozambique. The pundits also wrestled with writing knockout trust applications and moving a large major donor programme into ask mode – sound familiar?

If you have any fundraising problems do join me, and whichever of our Associates rocks up at the next First Friday session on 3 April 2009, or join us online at Facebook’s First Friday fundraising group – we might even get some videos up there later in the week. And it’s all free.
