Archant Life regional magazines

I occasionally buy editions of Somerset Life, etc., from Archant, and have signed up for some of their news alerts. Most of the time I delete the newsletter, but occasionally there are useful snippets, reminders of a new regional rich list, etc.
The latest newsletter from Somerset Life features an article on Duncan Bannatyne, who is not someone I normally associate with Somerset. On clicking on the link to the article, I read that he has bought the Charlton House Hotel in Shepton Mallet. Apparently, The Somerset Tourism Association, which has the support of Michael Eavis, (Glastonbury Festival) and Martin Roberts (BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer), persuaded Bannatyne to become an Ambassador to Somerset.
I don’t know how likely it is that Bannatyne might become an active supporter of local charities, but a connection has been made.
I think that the news alerts might be worth monitoring for a while longer.
