Charity CRM Software Survey: Bigger Doesn’t Necessarily Mean Better

Howard Lake | 18 May 2011 | News

Smaller Is More Beautiful, Small and Perfectly Formed
This year’s survey of Charity CRM Software, conducted by Civil Society Media, showed that not only are smaller independent software suppliers catching up with the larger suppliers in terms of market share, the level of satisfaction of their customers is greater.
Redbourn Business Systems, suppliers of Advantage Fundraiser and Advantage Box Office have stormed the survey findings this year.
Steve Cast, Founder and Managing Director, says “We are delighted that this independent survey found that 100% of our customers with an annual income of less than £1M would recommend us to other charities. As a supplier we were ranked in first place, scoring higher than Blackbaud, Iris, ASI and thankQ. We’ve always maintained that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, and this independent survey proves the point”.
Further confirmation that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better was evident from the overall high satisfaction scores and ratings enjoyed by other smaller suppliers represented in the survey, many of whom also consistently outperformed their larger competitors.
