New Director of Marketing & Fundraising at Rainbow Trust

Fidelma Hatton has joined children’s charity Rainbow Trust as Director of Marketing & Fundraising. She leaves after seven years at the NSPCC where she was Development Director.
Her appointment is part of Rainbow’s plans to increase the number of families it supports from 1,000 to 1,500 by 2013.
Announcing the appointment, Heather Wood, Rainbow’s Chief Executive said: “Fidelma joins us from one of the UK’s largest charities, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise… Our vision is that one day all terminally ill children and their families will have access to a Rainbow carer and I cannot think of anyone better qualified than Fidelma to lead our ambitious expansion plans.”
The charity, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, received a major boost last week as global investment bank Nomura announced it as the beneficiary of a two year charity partnership.
