Donors to get their paws on ZSL London Zoo

Howard Lake | 19 September 2011 | News

ZSL London Zoo is offering donors the chance to make their mark on the zoo with their new ‘pawprint trail’ around its £3.3 million tiger exhibit, due to open in 2013.
As part of its Tiger SOS campaign, the zoo will offer 150 paw prints to acknowledge donations of £400 or more to the zoo’s Tiger SOS campaign. Donors will see their name marked permanently on a plaque in this flagship exhibit.
The zoo is inviting donors to acquire a PawPrint as a gift, a way to remember a loved one, or simply a legacy of a family visit to the zoo.
ZSL London Zoo’s Zoological Director, David Field said: “The Tiger SOS PawPrints will allow us to highlight the generous donations to this crucial campaign with a truly unique legacy in the Zoo. Sumatran tigers are critically endangered, and here at ZSL London Zoo we have the expertise and the passion to change this – we just need the funds.”
