O2 helps Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to be more dog

Mobile telecoms provider O2’s current ‘be more dog’ advertising campaign has resulted in it supporting Battersea Dogs & Cats Home this Christmas.
The partnership followed an approach from the charity, after it had spotted the advertising campaign.
As a result, six of the charity’s dogs had the best Christmas party possible. The dogs enjoyed a pre-party pampering session, a limo ride to the venue, a festive feast for dinner and lots of treats and toys for Christmas presents. They were also joined by special guest Cheska Hull and her Battersea dog, Evie.
The dinner was organised following a Twitter campaign in which supporters were encouraged to tweet the #tweetatreat hashtag.
“The more you tweeted about the party the bigger and better it got!”, according to O2.
The company is encouraging others to give to the charity: “Show your support by texting ‘BEMOREDOG’ to 70099 to automatically donate £1 to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.” The video of the Christmas dinner concludes with this mobile giving ask.
