Mud is not so mad for Marie Curie

McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes has raised £46,000 this year for Marie Curie through a series of action-packed outdoor events.
The Northern Ireland McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Mud Madness events take place twice yearly, and see both children and adult participants making their way through a series of muddy obstacles.
Registration is now open for next year’s events which will see McVitie’s hold four events across two days in April, with two McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Mini Mud Madness for the under 16s taking place on 16th April, and two further events on 17th April for those over 16. Participants have to walk, run, fall, wade and dive through a range of muddy obstacles.
Anne Hannon, partnership manager at Marie Curie said:
“Fundraising is a constant challenge for organisations like Marie Curie, but this is one of the most fun and unique ways to make a difference. This is a fantastic day out that’s talked about months before it takes place, and for a long time afterwards by the competitors who take part year after year.”
