The Ireland Funds has opened its Small Grants round which can provide funding up to €10,000 or £8,000 to charities and voluntary groups.
The grants round is open until 4 April 2016. The larger Ireland Funds flagship programme closed for expressions of interest at the end of February.
The Ireland Funds will allocate grants to Arts and Culture, Community Development, Education and Peace and Reconciliation. Over 3,000 grants have been allocated to projects North and South of the Irish border since the Ireland Funds starting making grants.
Amongst the seven areas of particular interest for the Ireland funds are assisting disadvantaged youth, promoting philanthropy, providing access to education and peace related work in Northern Ireland.
The Ireland Funds website provides guidance for applicants who have to go through an eligibility check before proceeding to the online application form.
