Lizzi Hollis – Rising Star at IoF Fundraising Convention 2016

Lizzi Hollis spoke in the Rising Stars session on the final day of the Institute of Fundraising’s Fundraising Convention 2016, earlier this month.
This new session at Convention featured nine newcomers to the fundraising sector who had never spoken at Convention before. They and others had had to compete to win one of the final opportunities to speak in the Barbican Concert Hall in London in front of their peers.
Hollis, Fundraising Officer at Independent Age, presented on ‘the future of relationship building in the fundraising sector’. She argued that fundraisers should not make assumptions about who will give, or even how they might give.
