As the end of the month approaches, here are eight corporate fundraising partnerships that have caught our attention.

Axcis National Autistic Society

1) Axcis Education and the National Autistic Society

Axcis Education has announced that it is to continue its partnership with the National Autistic Society for a further two years, as well as its exclusive sponsorship of Network Autism. The sponsorship will include support for events, conferences and training across numerous activities organised by the charity, including Network Autism and the My World National Autistic Society Education Campaign. Axcis will also headline sponsor the National Autistic Society’s Professional Conference and the Autism Professional Awards for the sixth year.

To honour Invisalign treating its 4 millionth patient worldwide (pictured), Align Technology, the international company behind Invisalign, is pledging to donate up to $1 million to the Operation Smile Foundation. The campaign is being backed in the UK by Olympic cyclists Laura Trott and Jason Kenny, who will be tweeting #4millionsmiles. Every smile will be added to a geo-located world map, lighting up the world as the smile count grows. Lookers is helping the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow to raise £21 million as part of a major appeal to construct a brand new, state-of-the-art care facility. The hospice is seeking to raise an additional £2.8 million to reach its £21 million target. In support of the hospice’s ‘Brick by Brick’ Appeal to raise the funds, Lookers is donating a brand new Dacia Sandero 1.2 which has a list price of £7,290 to help it reach its funding target as part of a prize draw for those who pledge their financial support.

Close Brothers

4) Close Brothers Motor Finance & Great Ormond Street

Close Brothers Motor Finance has raised £13,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The funds were raised through a series of events which saw some employees from the business taking part in a 1,300 mile cycling challenge, cake sales, quizzes, racing nights and a silent auction. The money will go towards purchasing special cots that help babies maintain temperature while they are in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Premier Radio has made Tearfund its Charity of the Year.
