Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day, or Mardi Gras, sees about 52 million eggs consumed in the UK, more than double the average daily amount. How do UK charities make the most of this popular day? Zurich for Charities found out and shared them in a Twitter moment.

Fundraising, campaigning, public information, and a bit of fun – charities marked the day in many different ways. Why not add details of what your charity did? Use the comments below.

Twitter moments are a useful and easy way of curating or gathering and sharing a range of Twitter content to produce a single story or report.
