NCT estimates cost savings of emailing members' voting papers

The National Childbirth Trust has estimated that it can save around £10,000 in 2007 if its members switch to receiving voting papers via email. A paper mailing to its members this month asked “please help us to be cost effective by making sure we have your correct email address.” It then gives several ways in which members can update their email address – by email, phone, or online.
Saving money and helping the charity update its records – it’s a compelling ask.
Have other charities put a value on converting donors/subscribers/members/customers to email?
