Bully for YouTube

Howard Lake | 15 November 2007 | Blogs

Anti-bullying charity, Beatbullying, is to launch a ‘branded channel’ on Google-owned YouTube. The partnership will be promoted on YouTube’s homepage from Monday 19th November without the campaign having to have garnered a requisite number of views, normally necessary to attain this prime spot. This is an unprecedented move that’s bound to inspire other charities to pitch for future poll-position on this popular site.
This is the charity’s second major initiative in as many months and follows the announcement of its logical tie-up with Vodafone, established to combat text-bullying.
