ICFM warns of possible scam

The Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers’ ICFM Update is warning members of the activities of a Mr Julian Phillips, “who appears to be actively promoting his commercial business alongside the proposition that a charity will benefit.”
It appears that he places newspaper advertisements suggesting that “commercial adverts can be enhanced by reference to his own expertise and knowledge” and that anyone who does so will produce a donation from Mr Phillips to a charity of his choice. You have been warned!
