GM Daewoo donates 100 cars to NCH worth £1 million

Howard Lake | 1 December 2003 | News

Motor manufacturer GM Daewoo has donated 100 Tacuma family MPVs to children’s charity NCH, worth over £1 million, to be used by NCH projects around the country.

The donation marks the start of ‘Driving change for children’, a partnership between GM Daewoo and NCH in 2004 which will run for at least 12 months. Around 80 Daewoo retailers will be organising fundraising events during the year for the charity.

The partnership also involves a charity vehicle auction on eBay. Daewoo is auctioning a Kalos 1.2 Xtra five-door family hatchback online to raise funds for NCH. The car is worth £6,995 but widding will start at just £1. The auction will run for one week.
