Dr Liz Miller is the new Development Director at Magdalen College, Oxford.

Dr Miller, a Magdalen graduate, takes up her post on 24 January 2005 and will be responsible for all aspects of the College’s development activity and alumni relations.

One element of the College’s fundraising is the student telephone campaign. In March 2004 15 Magdalen students spoke to 716 Old Members who made 380 gifts worth £205,982 gross. In four years, 39 students have talked to 2,989 Members and raised £774,511.

Roger Hutchins continues as Secretary to the Development Trust.
