EU Funding Programmes for Ireland

Two funding programmes which form part of the Peace ll extension in Ireland have been reopened. The two programmes are Measures 2.4, Pathways to Inclusion, Integration and Reconciliation of Victims, and 2.7, Developing Low Community Capacity and Promoting Active Citizenship.
Measure 2.4 focuses on building the capacity of individuals and communities to deal with the transition to peace by identifying and providing for skills gaps. It will also continue funding the work started under the original Peace l programme.
Measure 2.7 will fund programmes to stimulate and support community involvement and cohesion.

Both programmes apply to Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Irish Republic.
