Fundraising Camp comes to Canterbury

Howard Lake | 3 October 2013 | News

UK Fundraising’s third Fundraising Camp takes place in Canterbury. It’s a one-day ‘unconference’-style event, part of a nationwide series which is the first of its kind for fundraisers in the UK we think.

An unconference is an unstructured conference: there are no set speakers and no set topics. As a participant you are invited to suggest a topic at the beginning of the day. It could be something you know about, it could be a problem or a question you have and you want help on.

Fundraising Camp works on the idea that there is a huge amount of experience and expertise in the heads of the people who are usually the audience at a fundraising conference. Imagine unlocking more of that expertise, not just in the 15 minute coffee breaks, but throughout a whole day!
