Halifax credit cards generated £1.5 million in 2005 to Cancer Research UK (CRUK), Mencap and the NSPCC.

Halifax currently donates £20 to the customer’s chosen charity when they first use the card. Thereafter it dones 25p for every £100 spend on the card.

Since 1988 Halifax charity credit cards have raised over £18 million. The company claims that this makes it “the world’s most successful charity credit card provider.”
