New Donorfy features let charities reach major funders

Charities can now target high-net-worth individuals and grant-making bodies with the entry-level cloud-based CRM platform, which first launched last year.
Donorfy‘s new features enable users to capture prospect research information such as the amount they typically give, the types of cause they support and also their capacity to give.
New features have also been added to enable fundraisers to keep track of all touchpoints relating to donors and their associated asks. In addition, they can schedule tasks to remind them of the next steps, including the prompts for pledges relating to the gift.
The Donorfy platform has been designed to give charities instant access to their database, campaign management and stewardship programmes on desktop, tablet and smartphone. It also automatically collects Gift Aid, and is integrated with other commonly used cloud services including MailChimp, JustGiving, GoCardless, Stripe and Eventbrite.
Donorfy CEO Robin Fisk said:

“We find that charities, especially small and medium-sized ones, are increasingly looking to major funders for strategic support, be they high-net-worth individuals or a grant-making body of some kind. Which is understandable given the concerns charities feel they may have with individual giving programmes in the future. That meant we needed to think about providing the kind of opportunity management features found in commercial CRM systems, but in a way that works well for charities.”
