Dr Richard Marsh Joins Institute to Lead ImpACT Coalition

The Institute of Fundraising (‘Institute’) is announcing the appointment of Dr Richard Marsh as ImpACT (Improving Accountability, Clarity and Transparency) Coalition Director. The ImpACT Coalition is a group of more than 70 top charities and trade bodies working to increase public trust and confidence in charities.
Richard will direct the ImpACT Coalition and is responsible to the Coalition’s steering committee, chaired by Fundraising Director at Shelter, Alan Gosschalk.
Richard’s role is to drive the transparency and accountability agenda forward through:
· working with current Coalition participants, supporting them to adopt and use its key messages and tools
· increasing the current participation within the Coalition to include the Institute’s Organisational members
· developing ImpACT’s case for support, seeking and securing funding for the on-going work and development of ImpACT’s agenda.
Richard comes to the Institute following positions including adviser to Lambeth Palace and interim CEO at World Faiths Development Dialogue. Richard is highly experienced in project work involving international development issues and relations, and the implementation of dialogue.
