Voluntary sector specialists Wootton George Consulting has relaunched its interim fundraising support service Fundraising Placements.
First launched six years ago, the updated and rebranded service is designed to help those organisations which are finding it hard to recruit experienced fundraisers and which need interim support to maintain their incomes.
Fundraising Placements works by providing successful fundraisers, who average over 15 years experience each, to work in a charity over a period of time, either at management or practitioner level. The service covers a range of fundraising techniques and is tailored to meet the needs of each client. Support is given either to develop new fundraising programmes or to maintain existing income streams.
Simon George, Director of Wootton George Consulting, said: “We know that our interim fundraising service has proven very popular in the past, especially with charities that have been unable to recruit the experienced people they need.
“In a recession, it is all the more important that charities maintain their fundraising efforts if they are not to see their incomes decline. We are therefore relaunching our rebranded service in order to help more charities raise the funds they need.”
