Fourth NFPtweetup to be held on 24 September

Howard Lake | 25 August 2009 | Blogs News

The fourth NFPtweetup will be held at Breast Cancer Care’s offices in London on the evening of 24th September.

If you are new to this event, it is a meeting “of Twitter users – and those interested in the potential of Twitter and other social media – who work at, or with, non-profit organisations”.

Once again it is being sponsored by beautiful world and Just Giving.

I’ve been to the first two events, and attended some of the third one online. The events are designed as friendly, informal opportunities to share knowledge, ideas and experiences in the rapidly changing digital landscape. They are also good opportunities to put a face to some of the Twitter accounts you may be following.

The event is open to people with all kinds of experience of Twitter and social media, ranging from absolutely none to quite staggering levels. And Twitter sceptics and naysayers are welcome too – just come with good questions and an open mind.

If you’re a charity or non-profit organisation, you can grab one of the first 50 free places now:

There were still 19 available a few minutes ago.

Further tickets for agencies, consultants and other for profit organisations will follow soon.
