With Christmas on its way, here’s a short round up of some of the Christmas corporate partnerships, from Nationwide’s support of Shelter’s carol concert to Dunelm’s festive sandwich, which is supporting three charities.

Vodafone Gift of Connection

Vodafone is asking people to join it in giving the others the gift of connection this Christmas. It has pledged to connect 1 million people living in digital poverty by the end of 2022. People can donate their old devices, even if they’re not a Vodafone customer, and Vodafone is working with charities to donate the data, calls and texts.

Saraband Books & greenspace scotland

greenspace scotland has been selected, alongside the Open Spaces Society, as Saraband Books charity partner for its Christmas fundraising initiative. Buying a Saraband Giving Green book bundles offers the opportunity to buy a book alongside a donation to the charities.  The books come gift-wrapped with a personalised postcard, so the recipient knows a donation has been made in their name or people can give a voucher so the recipient can choose their own book.

Nationwide & Shelter

Nationwide is to match donations given on the night at Shelter’s upcoming virtual carol concert, up to £50,000. The ‘One Voice’ concert will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 8 December, and will be streamed via Shelter’s website. Shelter aims to match and exceed the success of last year’s inaugural virtual carol concert event, which attracted over 10,000 viewers.

Foodari & Pilgrims Hospices

Kent local business Foodari is supporting the county’s largest hospice charity Pilgrims Hospices this Christmas. It will be donating £5 from every one of its Christmas Turkeys sold this season, and offering an optional donation to the charity at checkout.

Dunelm & 3 charity partners

Dunelm is running a Christmas sandwich promotion in its Pausa coffee shops, donating 40p from the sale of each festive ham hock croque sandwich to its charity partners. The money will be shared between the three partners, with Mind receiving 89%, SAMH, 8%, and Inspire, 3%.

The Body Shop, Honeypot Children’s Charity & Family Carers Ireland

This Christmas The Body Shop has partnered with Honeypot Children’s Charity and Family Carers Ireland. It will be donating up to £150,000 to fund a range of respite breaks, which give disadvantaged children freedom from their routine and responsibilities, as well as online after school clubs and wellness services. The Bodyshop will donate 5p from every transaction made in store and online, as well as each The Body Shop At Home order placed between 19 October to 31 December 2021.

21CC Group & PKAVS

Christmas Wonderland, Perth’s new Christmas-themed lighting trail experience, which has been designed and produced by Scottish based events company, 21CC Group Ltd., has announced a partnership with local charity PKAVS. The charity partnership will invite the community of Perth to give back this Christmas, by making either a monetary donation – which will be gifted directly to the charity, or donating a family ticket to PKAVS, upon ticket check out.  21CC Group Ltd. will also be gifting PKAVS with 100 tickets to the exclusive Christmas Wonderland VIP Launch night as well as supplying a 10% discount code to the charity which will be available for redemption by all PKAVS charity members and associates.
