iPhone app raises funds for local football teams.

Cross Bar Challenger is a new iPhone app game that aims to raise money for local football teams.
Developed by football coach Benn Carson, the game was inspired by watching children attempting to hit a crossbar with the ball at a football game.
Crossbar Challenger includes several levels where you challenge yourself to flick a football onto the crossbar to generate points. The objective of the game is to hit as many points as you can to top the leadership board. The more points you hit the more levels you unlock.
It can also be used to raise funds for grassroots football clubs, with a commitment to share the profits on a given day with a local club, with 25p per download being received by the club. For example, sales on 30 January will benefit Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Crossbar Challenger is available for the iPhone, iPod and iPad for download at 59p.
